Anderson Japanese Gardens-Rockford

The Gardens are open with some social-distancing restrictions. Timed entry reservations are recommended for all visitors, but are not required. The Gardens consists of two very different gardens.

The #1 Japanese Garden in the U.S.A. The first is a formal Japanese garden in the style of the Kamakura period, The Guest House, Teahouse, and machiai are 16th century Sukiya style architecture. The Garden of Reflection is a contemporary international garden with a strong Japanese influence.
